WHY WE STARTED THIS PODCAST

We enjoy working together, and we were having these types of discussions anyway. With "The Great Resignation" comes the great question: "What does my career look like when it has purpose?"

If we can help someone with guidance around how to reflect on their career, then that is a powerful reward for us. And there are several other benefits for us as well: (1) We get to refresh our learning related to career planning, development, and change, and we get to think differently about these concepts; (2) As industrial-organizational psychologists, we usually view career development, primarily, through the lens of the organization. Building this podcast gives us amplifies our opportunity to think at the individual level and the organizational level simultaneously; (3) It's a lot of fun recording these episodes.
